I chose Coco Chanel because she is the founder of Chanel, the famous dress-making brand. She made many phenomenons in the domain of the fashion trade, like tweed, pants for women, or tanned skin.

She  was born under the name of Gabrielle Chasnel, on 19th august 1883. French by her origins, she was nicknamed ?Mademoiselle'. She made the famous ?Number 5', the perfume by Chanel. She died on 10th january 1971 at the age of 87 years.

I, Pauline Robert, member of the 9ma1 Nobel Academy, give the posthumous Cescole Nobel prize to John Lennon.

I chose John Lennon because he was a very good composer and singer. He was a rockstar legend with his band, The Beatles.

He was born on 9th October 1940 in Liverpool and he was assassinated on 8th December 1980 in New York.

He was at the origin of the "peace and love" movement and he went on a hunger strike with his wife: Yoko Ono.

His cat was called Elvis!

I chose him because he was very creative and he made beautiful pictures.

He was a famous painter. He was the most surrealist. He made sculptures and ceramics too. He was born on 20th  April 1893 in Barcelona and he died on 25th December 1983 in his home, in Palma de Majorque. He was Spanish. He was married with Pilar Juncosa. His friends were Pablo Picasso and Kandinsky. His work the "Wall of the Moon and Wall of the sun" is on the UNESCO building in Paris. He was designated doctor at the Harvard university. He created a Miro foudation in Barcelona on the "Montjuic". His first monograph was published in 1940 by Shuzo Takiguchi.

I. Delphine, member of the 9MA1 Nobel Academy, give the posthumous Cescole Nobel prize to Agatha Christie. I chose her because she was a famous British detective stories writer.

She was born in 1891 in Devon and she died in 1976 near Oxford. When she died, she left more than one hundred novels translated in the world. Her heroes are the Belgian detective Hercule Poirot and Miss Marple. Her fantastic and famous novels are: "Death on the Nile","Murder on the Orient Express"and" Ten little niggers".

Under the name of Mary Westmacott, she published more novels: "Unfinished Portrait", "Absent in the spring", "The Burden"... She triumphed in theatre with "Witness for Prosecution" in 1953 and "The mousetrap" still performed nowadays.

Agatha Christie is one of the most read writers in the world.

I chose Frank Bilings Kellogg because he received the Nobel Peace prize. He stopped the war between France and the U.S.A.

He was from the U.S.A. He received in 1927 the Nobel Peace prize in the U.S.A.

He was born in 1856 in New-york and he died at Sao Paul (Brazil) in 1937.

I chose Charlie Chaplin because he was a famous actor of silent films. He invented a character "Charlot". He acted in "The Kid","the Great Dictator" and a lot of other movies.

He was born in 1889 in London (England) and he died in 1977 in Vevey (Switerland). His real name was sir Charles Spencer Jr.

Charlie Chaplin, (his real name was sir Charles Spencer Chaplin), was an actor, a producer and scriptwriter. He was born in London on 16th April 1889 and died on 25th December 1977 in Vevey in Switzerland.
He wore a black bowler hat, a black jacket, black trousers, a tie and a cane.

He was a mime. He made silent films. In his life, he made a lot of films. His character was called Charlot.

He received the Nobel Peace Prize in 1954 and a star on the Walk of Fame in Hollywood.

He was the father of many childrens.

In Vevey we can see a statue of him with his traditional clothes.

I chose this person because I think she could sing well and it's too bad because she died when she was very young.

Aaliyah Dana Haughton was born on 16th January 1979 in New York. She was an R&B singer, an actress and a dancer from America. When she 15 was, she recoded her first album: "Age Ain't Nothing But A Number" produced by Robert Sylvester Kelly (R.Kelly). She died in an air plane accident in Marsh Harbour in the Bahamas on 25th August 2001.

I, Melissa, member of the 9ma1 Nobel Academy, give the posthumous Cescole Nobel prize to Paul Ehrlich. 

I chose Paul Ehrlich because he invented the first chemotherapeutic treatment.

Paul Ehrlich was born on March 14th 1854 in Strehlen in Silésia (Poland). He was a German scientist. He received the Nobel prize for Medecine in 1908. He was known for his work in heamatology, immunology and in chemotherapy.

In 1882 he discovered a method of tint which is responsible for tuberculosis.

He also invented the medecine to cure certain viruses: the salavarsan, which is now called penicillin.

He was considered the father of the chemotherapy, because the salavarsan is considered as the first chemotherapeutic treatment .

I chose Grace Kelly because she was a remarkable princess of Monaco and she was a very good actress.

She was born on November 12, 1929, in Philadelphia, and died on September 14, 1982 because of an accident.

In her life she made 11 films, all of which have been successful and in 1955 she won the Academy Award for best actress in the country girl. She married Prince Rainier III of Monaco on april 19, 1956 and was the first American to climb on a throne.

I chose him because he made a lot of songs with a big handicap.

He was born in 1770 and died in 1827. He wrote a lot of good songs like "symphony number 5" or "ode in the enjoyment" and he played them on the piano. He was deaf but he could play music. Everybody knows his songs.

I chose Marylin Monroe because she was a famous singer, actress and American model.

 She was born on first June 1926 and died on 5th August 1962. She started her career as a model in 1944 and in 1947, when she was 21 years old, she made her first film, then she became a celebrity in the Fifties and at the beginning of the Sixties.

 When he was a child, he was very gifted in science and physics.

He was a German physician. He had the Swiss passport because he had his family in Italy. In fact, he had 3 passports (German, Swiss and American). He had two children, a girl (Lieserl) in 1902 and a boy (Eduard) in 1910.

Marcel Grossmann was one of Einstein's friends. They made experiments together.

I chose him because he was very intelligent and he invented so many things.

He was born in 1879 in Germany and he died in the USA in 1955.

He was born in 1866. He was a French painter, born in Russia. He studied law and lived in Munich where he painted. He returned to Russia in 1914 where he was a teacher and founded the Academy of Arts and Science in Moscow. He died in 1944.

He was born on 16th March 1475 in Caprese, in the North of Arezzo in Tuscany.

He died on 18th February 1564 in Rome.

He used in his Music different musical forms of his time, especially German and Italian.One of these most known works is " Symphony n°40 ". He's especially famous for his symphonies and his piano concertos.

He was Spanish and he had one sister and one brother he could play the piano. He lived in a castle with a woman. He was in a film with Coluche called "L'aile ou la cuisse".

I chose him because he was a very good music composer.

Antonio Vivaldi was born in 1678 and he died in 1741.

He was born in Venice in 1678. His father was a violinist. Vivaldi became very quickly a special virtuoso of the instrument. The musical production of Vivaldi is huge: He made 454 concertos.

He was born on 6th February 1945 in St-Ann in Jamaica.

His real name is Robert Nesta Marley, he was a famous singer of reggae, a reggae man, he made good and very famous songs (ex: no woman no cry, positive vibrations...).

He had 13 children, he is a reggae symbol.

He died in miami on 11th May 1981 because of an arm cancer.

She was born in 1926 in Los Angeles. She was American. She was a famous actress.

She was a Golden Globe award winning American actress, model and sex symbol. She was known for her career, she worked towards serious roles with a measure of success.

She died in 1962. We don't know how she died.
