Cescole Nobel Prize in cinema : Marilyn Monroe

I, Charlotte, member of the 9MA1 Nobel Academy, give the posthumous Cescole Nobel prize to Marilyn Monroe.

 I chose Marilyn Monroe because she was beautiful, and because I think she was a famous actress.

She was born on 1st June 1926 and she died on 5th August 1962. She played in some films as for example: Gentlemen prefer Blondes,  seven years of reflection and some people like him warmly. She was also a singer and a Model. She received the Golden Globe for the best actress in a comedy, too.

I, Kim, member of the 9MA1 Nobel Academy, give the posthumous Cescole Nobel prize to Ernesto Rafael Guevara de la Serna

I chose Ernesto Rafael Guevara de la Serna because he was a famous revolutionary.

He was born on 14th June 1928 in Rosario in Argentina.

He had four brothers and sisters: Roberto, Celia, Ana María, Juan Martín and he was the eldest.

He was a revolutionary and politician in Latin America, leader of the Cuban internationalist guerrillas.

And he died on 9th October 1967 on the Revolution place.

I, Marine, member of the 9MA1 Nobel Academy, give the posthumous Cescole Nobel Prize to Michael Jackson.

I chose Michael Jackson because he was a very famous singer and dancer.

He was born on 29th August 1958 in Gary and he died on 25th June 2009. At this moment he was 50 years.

He begun to make music with his brothers ans sisters. Their name was "Jackson five". after a while they parted.

 He revolutionned popmusic with his music titles. His best songs are Thriller, Billy Jean, Beat It, You're not alone, etc...

His nickname was "King of Pop". And he will always be.

I, Maude, member of the 9MA1 Nobel Academy, give the posthumous Cescole Nobel prize to Charlie Chaplin.

 

I chose Charlie Chaplin beceause he was very funy.

 He was born in London on 16th April 1889. He became one of the best actors of Hollywood. He played in funny films. 

He was composer, film director, producer and fitter on his films.

 

And he died in Switzerland on 29th December 1977 at the age of 88 years.

I, Olivier, member of the 9MA1 Nobel Academy, give the posthumous Cescole Nobel prize to Albert Einstein.

I chose Albert Einstein because he discovered the theory of relativity.

He was born in 1879 in Germany. His father, Hermann was the boss of a electrochemistry firm and his mother, Pauline, was a musician. Albert's uncle lived with his family. It was his uncle who gived to Albert the desire to learn science.

Albert Einstein died in 1955.

I, Melissa, member of the 9ma1 Nobel academy, give the posthumous Cescole Nobel prize to Yves Saint Laurent. I chose Yves Saint Laurent because he was a famous couturier.

Yves-Mathieu Saint-Laurent was born in Oran, Algeria in 1936. His parents were called Lucienne-Andrée and Charles. His father was the president of an insurance company. his mother passed her sense of fashion and style on to him. He had two sisters, Michèle and Brigitte.

In 1954, he was 18 years old, he lived in Paris to study drawing and haute couture for 3 months.

In 1955, the famous couturier Christian Dior used Yves Saint Laurent for modelling.

In 1957, Yves Saint Laurent was 21 years. Christian Dior died.

In 1962, he created his first collection. In 1966, he created his first suit for girls. In 2002, he was 66 years. He left Haute couture.

In 2008, Yves Saint Laurent lived with  his partner Pierre Bergé when he died because he had cancer.

The Cescole Nobel prize Academy: Picasso

I, Marie-Aude, member of the 9ma1 Nobel Academy, give the posthumous Cescole Nobel prize to Pablo Ruiz Picasso.

I chose Picasso because he was a big artist.

Pablo Ruiz Picasso was born in 1881, in Malaya (Spain). His father was called Son José and he was a painter .

He was a famous painter. His first painting is Le Picador (1889) and he loved it. He painted very very many pictures!

And finally, he died in 1973, in Mougin (France).

He was born in 1889 in London and he died in 1977 in Switzerland. He was famous for his silent and black and white films. In his life, he had four wifes and a lot of kids. His best films were The Kid,...

I chose Tupac Shakur because he was a famous singer.

He was an actor, compositor and singer. He created six music albums. There are 2Pacalypse Now, Thug Life, All Eyez On Me...

Tupac Shakur was born in 1971 in New York and he died assassinated in 1996 in Las vegas at the age of 25 years.

Louis de Funès was born in 1914 and died in 1983.

I chose Charles de Gaulle because he was a fantastic strategist and a French General in the Second World War.

He was born on 22th November 1890 in Lille, in France.

He founded the 5th Republic in 1958 of which he was the 1st president from 1959 to 1969.

He is the only big master of the liberation.

He died on 9th November 1970 in Haute-Marne in France.

I, Kimberly member of the 9MA1 Nobel Academy, give the posthumous Cescole Nobel prize to James Dean.

I chose him because he was a famous actor.
He was born in 1931 and died in 1955 in a car accident. He was only 24.
He played in Rebel Without a Cause in which he starred as troubled high school rebel Jim Stark. The other two roles that defined his star power were the awkward loner Cal Trask in East of Eden, and as the surly farmer Jett Rink in Giant.
He was the first actor to receive a posthumous Academy Award nomination for best actor.

James Dean's popularity remains higher in death than it did during his short life.

He was born in 1899 and he died in 1980.  He had one girl. She's called Patricia Hitchcock. She turned in Hitchcock's films.

He was American and British. His nickname was "the master of Suspense" .

I chose Jaques-Yves  Cousteau because he's a famous oceanographe.

Cousteau was born in 1910 and he died in 1997, he invented the modern scuba diving in 1943.

I chose Martin Luther King because he is a hero, what he did is the most incredible thing in the whole world. And if he hadn't fought against racism well maybe I wouldn't have my best friend today that is black.

 He was born in Memphis on 15th January 1929 and died on 4th April 1968.

I chose him because he was tragically assassinated.

He was born on 29th May 1917 in Brooklin, Massachusetts. He was the youngest president of the United States to be elected and he died on 22nd November 1963 in Dallas: he was assassinated in a parade.

His assassination shocked many people and it remains very mysterious...

 He was born in Chicago Semptember the 13th 1929 and died in 1994.
